Wonderful Condo on Sanibel Island

We stayed for a week in June. Unfortunately the weather was not great as it rained for most of our week. However, I cannot say enough good things about this condo and thank goodness it was so comfortable considering the weather. It is just as described in the photos: clean, decorated comfortably, and everything you could possibly need for a vacation. I enjoyed the lanai and we ate almost every meal out there enjoying the view. I have a toddler, so the lanai was the best place for her to eat because there is carpeting around the dining table. I would definitely stay here again if we make it back to beautiful Sanibel Island. Thank you!
Great Condo in a Great Location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the lanai of the ocean was awesome to wake up to every morning. We enjoyed the heated pool, volleyball on the beach, the beach itself, shelling and watching the sunset. The condo itself was very clean and very nicely decorated. I immediately felt at home. Beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of linens provided and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, etc to last for the week. I would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Heaven on Earth

We have visited Sanibel Island for many years - this is the best rental we have ever had. Beautiful furnishings, a kitchen with everything you could want to cook/eat, immaculate well-maintained grounds. Pointe Santo is beautiful - love the location within walking distance of Bailey's, restaurants, farmer's market. We had two condos but this one was the best - thank you to Marcelle for allowing us to enjoy a wonderful week. We will definitely be back!

Just back from a family spring break and we had such a great time we had to add a review. This condo was fantastic and exactly as advertised - with one exception... The view is better that the pictures!
We awoke to a peaceful sunrise every morning. The sun comes beaming in the window about an hour after sunrise to help you greet the day then blissfully retreats from the lanai to create a cool comfortable day long view out of the sun. Ceiling fans, screens and a screen door allow you as much open air living as you want but the a/c works great as well
Everyone from the on island rental agency to the Pointe Santo staff was exceptional. Check in and out was a breeze and the army or maintenance folks keep the grounds looking great. You don't notice them until you want to but they rare always working. At night they quietly tidied the beach area by flashlight and each morning they maintained the pool area. We are a family but I have to say the adult swim times and having the pool secured late and early keep the setting serene.
We tend to be an active family so Sanibel is great. I rented a road bike for a few days then as a family we rode beach cruisers the rest of the week. Pointe Santo's central location made a great launch point to go either way on the bike paths.
A guided kayak tour through Ding Darling was a highlight seeing all sorts of wildlife including birds, fish, a stingray, live shells and horseshoe crabs!
The restaurants were great but a well stocked kitchen and gas grills made for nice lanai dining as well .
Seems fitting we started each day watching sunrise and completed them in chairs watching the sun set.
We will definitely be back for more toes in the sand.

Gorgeous condo, grounds, and beach!

This condo was in excellent condition, beautifully decorated and equipped. View from the lanai was fantastic--the lagoon, the pool, and the gulf. It was nice not getting the afternoon sun as we spent most of our time there when not on the beach. The property was well-maintained and had beautiful grounds. Loved the 'fridge with filtered water; made I it a lot easier not having to buy water. The owners were very nice and even called us from across the pond' to ensure everything was in order while we were there. We would definitely rent B36 again!
Great time on Sanibel

Have been to Sanibel many times and I have to say the best condo we have stayed at thus far. It was tastefully decorated, the kitchen was so well equipped which made it a pleasure to do all our cooking, loved the filtered water in the refrigerator and it was super clean.
Made a point of having breakfast every morning on the lanai with the sun beaming in, watching the ocean. Weather was fantastic, collected some great shells and ate great food.
Thank you Marcelle and Malcolm for making our visit so memorable.

Beautifully decorated/Well-stocked kitchen/Great location

We have stayed at 3 different condos in Pointe Santo de Sanibel in 4 years, and this condo is now our favorite. The owners take pride in providing an up-dated condo with a wonderfully appointed kitchen. Impressed that even the guest bath had an updated shower (as nice as the master bath). We love the west-side location in that we can enjoy the morning sun on the lanai yet are protected from the hot afternoon sun. The condo lies directly over the lagoon for a wonderful view all day....alligator, turtles, osprey.....Definitely one of the nicer condos in this complex.
A Special Place

We’ve become regular visitors to this condo. This year will be our fourth. Pointe Santo has all the amenities you could wish for – all immaculately maintained & the staff are so friendly, always available if needed. We have returned to B36 each time, the views of the lake & the Gulf from the lanai draw us back each year. It’s lovely waking up each morning to watch the sunrise & listen to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. The condo’s décor is beautifully done with a light & airy feel. We found the kitchen to be particularly well equipped – so self-catering is a pleasure. When we felt like eating out however, the choice of places is mind boggling. There are still lots of restaurants we haven’t tried yet – we’re working on it! To see the island, hire some bicycles. There are cycle paths everywhere and you will find that’s what everyone else does. Don’t miss visiting Ding Darling Refuge – the many species of birds and other animals are fascinating. We love the island. It’s a special place.
Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Far exceeded our expectations

We loved our stay in this beautifully appointed 2 bedroom condo on the beach. It was everything they said it would be and more! Lots of pleasant surprises -- view from lanai of beach was incredible. Beach itself was clean and you could walk for miles! Club house was nice and helpful -- we even took out a puzzle to work on during the week. King size bed + TV in master bedroom were really nice to have. Satellite TV reception excellent and was able to pick up WiFi signal when on the lanai. Kitchen is beautifully appointed. Decor is lovely and has a "Tommy Bahama" type of feel to it. Sand toys, hair dryer, ironing board were all unexpected (and appreciated) additions. In-house book on Sanibel Island got well read and helped us plan day trips and things to do. I recommend this unit and Sanibel/Capitve for a lovely, quiet, getaway with family or as a couples stay. Sanibel is quite beautiful with unique restaurants and stores. You won't be disappointed.
Heavenly vacation!!!!

Everything was perfect. We really hated to leave this little slice of heaven. The condo's location, description and information is exactly as described. Absolutely no unpleasant surprises. The condo is equipped with everything that you need for a wonderful time at the beach or to relax inside. The air conditioning worked great (important in the summer) and the unit was very clean and comfortable. The owner was exceptional in providing us with information about places to eat and visit during our stay in the area. There are lots and lots of wonderful restaurants to choose from on Sanibel. Not only were the owners wonderful with their communication and follow up (complete with a phone call during our stay to see if we were happy!) the people on Sanibel Island are friendly and so welcoming. The beach and water were delightful and so relaxing. While swimming we were visited by a manatee and dolphins! The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and easy. We highly recommend this wonderful home and Sanibel Island. The "Ding" Refuge was closed while we were there, for construction. However, the Shell Museum was great. Also, if you love shells, you might want to visit Shells.com there on Periwinkle. The shop has the largest selection of shells from all over the world. Since you may only take shells from the beach that are "dead", it is fun to buy shells from this shop. Be sure to travel up to Captiva Island and eat at Mucky Duck.
Fabulous unit and the best location

Wonderful owners, a pleasure to rent from. The unit was lovely, exactly as described, actually better. It was like coming home to a luxury apartment. Attractively decorated with tasteful ease. Well maintained kitchen, perfect for eating in - every convenience. From the screened in sunroom we could watch the pool and the activities going on. Just a few steps from the door was the beach, so relaxing and perfect for that morning walk. Just minutes from the shops and island restaurants, This desirable unit will not disappoint.

A wonderful condo with great views in a peaceful setting and a few short steps from the Gulf! It is immaculate and very well furnished with all modern appliances at your convenience if you wish to self cater, thou' there are many excellent restaurants within a short distance to choose from also. The owners, and indeed all staff at Pointe Santo are extremely helpful with any questions you may have and a super kid's club too; hence we have stayed at this property 3 times in the last 4 years. I would definitely recommend this as a great holiday home for any family, and for us it has indeed become 'Paradise found!'
Updated and Comfortable - Loved It!

This was our first trip to Sanibel. Pointe Santo was a good choice. Unit B36 was a great choice! Our condo was just as pictured. Nicely appointed and very clean and comfortable. We were happy to spend time inside the few times it rained during our stay. The kitchen was great. Lots of cupboard and counter space and all the kitchenware and gadgets you might need can be found in the many cupboards and drawers. The bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The master bath had a nice sized dressing area with mirrored closets. We loved the lanai for eating, relaxing and sorting shells. Pointe Santo is centrally located for using the bike paths and is convenient distance to Bailey's grocery store and Periwinkle Way for other shopping and dining. We were about a 20 minute leisurely bike ride from the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and a 5 minute ride to the Bailey Tract, which we rode through almost every morning. We rented bikes for the week. Sanibel is quite flat, so riding was easy with the single speed bikes we had. We found that with the high temps and humidity of mid-summer, bicycling is most comfortable in the morning or late afternoon. In the evening noseeums (tiny biting bugs) tended to be out, so we made sure to use insect repellant on evening rides. The bike paths are really wonderful and you get a nice view and feel of the island that way. Marcelle called us on our first full day there to personally make sure that everything was OK. She answered some questions we had, even emailing me a link with further information. We had a wonderful week in Sanibel (that went by too quickly) and we will definitely be back!
Perfect family vacation!

We recently returned from an absolutely incredible week on Sanibel Island staying in this beautiful unit. We are a family of three but the unit could easily hold a larger family as well. The kitchen is fully equipped (including a great ice maker/filtered water tap on the fridge) and we enjoyed many meals out on the screened in porch with its amazing view. The unit is also stocked with beach supplies: beach towels, adult and kid chairs, umbrellas, plenty of sand toys, and a big beach container to transport everything on the short walk to the sand. My husband is very picky about cleanliness when we travel and he gave this resort and the unit an enthusiastic two thumbs up! The beds were comfortable and the showers were great after a day in the sand out on the fantastic beach that you can see from the room. The owners were super responsive and attentive both before and during our trip. An amazing vacation!

Relaxing and fun family vacation. Condo is super family/mom friendly. A true home away from home. The owners really strive to anticipate their guests needs. Kitchen well equipped and beach supplies are plentiful. They even have night lights in the unit! My 7 yr old loved the crafts at the rec center. We loved the unit, location, and having wine time on the lanai. Everyone had a fantastic -stress free- time, can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Pointe Santo B36 this past week. Everything about this condo is beautiful; the furnishings are updated and comfortable; the kitchen is finished w/sleek new granite and is spacious, modern and fully equipped; the baths are also finished w/granite and oversized glass showers; bedroom furniture was soft and cushy and the view of the gulf from the master bedroom and living area was gorgeous! We would sit on the lanai and have a quick bite or drink while enjoying the breeze and scenery of the gulf and lush condo grounds. The beach was only a short walk down the path and we had perfect sunny weather for most of the week. Pointe Santo is in an excellent location for shopping, shelling, biking, dining and enjoying the tropical waters of the gulf. We have stayed at Pt Santo before, but this is the best unit by far. The owners were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable than expected. Hope to get back to beautiful Sanibel soon. We would definitely rent this condo again, it truly is heavenly!

What a wonderful trip in every way. This was the first time we chose to rent a condo instead of go with a traditional hotel. Smart move! Not only was this place lovely in every way - loaded with all of the comforts of home and then some - we also enjoyed a huge savings! It was nice for four adults and a baby to have a home - not just a room. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed to cook gourmet meals. Loved the big fridge with ice maker that had crushed ice, too. Perfect for bevs on extra hot days. And every day was extra hot. Air conditioning and fans worked like a dream. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own TV. Bathrooms were modern and pretty. The location could not have been better. Almost a walk away from Bailey's store and sandwiched just far enough in between the lighthouse and Captiva. I am a power walker so I loved the four mile walk each day to the lighthouse. My family LOVED the pool and the free wi-fi was an added bonus. The screened in lanai offered sweet views of the lake area and the gulf. Honestly, I can not imagine a better place and we all agreed that when we return THIS will be our new home. Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home with us.

I love this condo! This was my second year in B36 & I recommend it highly! It's beautiful & comfortable. The condo has all the amenities of home including a fully equipped kitchen & much beach paraphernalia! I promise you will lack nothing while staying in this lovely home! The Master bedroom is very private & the master bath is lovely with lots of storage. I love the view from the lanai & spent many evenings there reading & enjoying a nice glass of wine or two! It's perfect! You can watch the sun come up in the morning on the lanai & walk down to the beach for the sunset. I highly recommend this lovely home for your next vacation destination! Pointe Santo is my favourite place to stay on Sanibel. B36 is the perfect vacation home for a family, a loving couple or a single person like me just wanting the perfect Sanibel getaway! And the shelling is pretty darn good too!
